Building Primetime Pizza’s Online Presence – A Siem Reap Website Creation Story

A Slice of Siem Reap’s Digital Growth

Siem Reap isn’t just about temples and tourism – it’s full of small businesses competing for a small market. When I talked with Eddie from Primetime Pizza about making a website for Primetime Pizza, he jumped at the chance. They’d made an attempt at one before but it didn’t really go anywhere, so this was perfect timing. I was actually doing a photoshoot for the menu of Primetime – on the second visit I mentioned that I also do websites. The rest is history.

They already had great pizzas and American comfort food- what they wanted was more visibility and to strengthen their brand. That’s where I came in. As a Siem Reap web developer, I help local businesses stand out online through clean design, fast performance, and professional presentation. But a website isn’t just a place where you put your information online, its a fully customizable medium for you to express your brand online.

Every website I create is crafted to blend functionality and storytelling – whether it’s for a restaurant, hotel, NGO or creative brand.

From Concept to Creation

The Primetime Pizza project began with understanding their brand — An american diner, serving NY style Pizza and American comfort food in the heart of Siem Reap.

I used WordPress + Elementor, building a fast, mobile-friendly site with custom branding and image styling. The layout was designed to highlight their food, atmosphere, and personality while loading quickly across all devices. This project was extra fun as I had done all the photography myself. Oh and I also got to sample almost the whole menu whilst shooting it ; )

Project highlights:

  • Custom responsive design with Elementor
  • On-page SEO setup (meta titles, descriptions, schema)
  • Brand photography and visual styling
  • Integration with Google Maps, Facebook, and contact links

Within a week of launch, the site began ranking for local searches like “pizza in Siem Reap” – showing how effective web design and SEO can be for local businesses.

Photography That Brings Websites to Life

Alongside development, I’m also a Siem Reap photographer, which means I can handle both sides of digital branding — the technical build and the creative visuals.

For Primetime Pizza, I photographed all their pizzas, starters, and mains, ensuring consistency across the website, social media, and Google Business Profile.

Good photography plays a huge role in SEO and conversions — it keeps people on your site longer and makes your brand memorable. It wasn’t until I started making websites seriously that I truly realised the importance of good photography – even though I’ve been a commercial photographer in Siem Reap for over a decade!
